Nokia E62 Update Available


You can update it from the Nokia UK site using the firmware updated called Nokia Phone Software Updater. Please make sure you back up your phone data before updating your phone software and if you happen to have your phones charger plug it in. Nothing worse than trying to update and your phone dies out half way through.

Nokia N93 Firmware Upgrade available


The N93 Firmware Upgrade has been added to the Nokia online phone software update site. Currently it is only listed on the Nokia Europe and not on the Nokia UK site.

The Nokia Software Update Tool has added the E50, E60, E61 and E70 to their software upgrade list.
Attention the the owners of the E70, according to the comments the update renders the E70 useless.

Linux phone by Trolltech in September




Troltech is promising to ship out what they call the "Greenphone" a GSM/GPRS mobile phone in September this year with a user modifiable Linux OS.
The phone will allow the users to re-flash the phone firmware via a mini-USB cable port.

The phone will be available with the software development kit.
